As an EMHP, you will be delivering CBT Evidence-Based Interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health and behavioural problems in various Education Settings.
You will assist children and young people with more severe issues to access specialized services promptly. A key part of your role is to support staff in your assigned Education Settings to identify and manage mental health and wellbeing issues, fostering whole-school approaches to positive mental health.
Working within educational environments to improve access to mental health services, you will identify and escalate risks appropriately.
Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based interventions, supporting children, young people, their families, and educators in self-management of difficulties, developing and practicing evidence-based skills, and working collaboratively to develop treatment plans with children, young people, and their families.
You will participate in case discussions, multi-agency meetings, and supervision to ensure high standards of care.
