  2. Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services.
  3. Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify mental health and wellbeing needs, promoting a Whole School Approach and embedding a positive ethos and attitude to mental health and wellbeing.

Previous applicants need not apply.

This is an opportunity to be involved in a new and exciting trailblazing team hosted within CAMHS, as a joint initiative between health and education. The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is a new service available in certain Nottinghamshire schools. We have been a trailblazer site for the project and were the first site nationally to go live in December 2019.

1 full-time post based in the Balderton Primary Care Centre, Lowfield Lane, Newark, NG24 3HJ.

1 full-time, fixed term for 12 months position available at Balderton Primary Care Centre.

The team office base is at Balderton Primary Care Centre Newark. Post holders will work within a hybrid model with some remote work as well as working in schools.

You will work with a variety of agencies to ensure a quality service is provided. You will work alongside the team to deliver parent, staff well-being and 1:1 sessions.

You must be a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner and have obtained the relevant EMHP / CWP Post Graduate Diploma qualification following the completion of a CYP IAPT approved training in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People (C&Y IAPT).

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
