A regional ambulance service is seeking an experienced Education Lead Team Leader in Exeter to guide educational delivery and support a team of educators. This role emphasizes coordination and communication between education and operational services, striving for high-quality training for clinical staff. As an Education Lead Team Leader, you’ll play a central role in leading a team of skilled educators, delivering high-quality training, and acting as the key liaison between education and operational services in line with the teams-based model. This is a unique opportunity to influence how we develop and support our clinical workforce.
The day-to-day responsibilities of an Education Team Leader will include coordinating and managing delivery of all core Education within your county as well as additional education requests. You will oversee education compliance as well as monitoring the progress of those on an educational programme for example apprentices. As an Education Team Leader you will also work with the local CTM to support a team of Lead practice Educators and for staffing the Practice Education Vehicles that will host various educational activities such as preceptorship and apprentice support. You will be the bridge between operations and Education to ensure quality support is provided in a swift manner and ensure the feedback loop is closed.
Your leadership skills will be invested in to ensure you are equipped with all the tools needed to be this bridge and ensure credibility in role. As an Education expert you will become the single point of contact in county for all education needs. You will also work closely with your peers to ensure best practices are shared and provide support for other teams where cover is needed.
