Job summary

Ardingly College Family of Schools in the United Kingdom seeks an HR Business Partner to provide operational generalist HR support across teaching and operational teams, advising managers on policy and legislation to help the College achieve strong performance through its people.

This role covers recruitment, onboarding, wellbeing, employee relations, learning and development, performance management and change management, reporting to the HR Director.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience, ideally in an education setting.
• Ability to advise and coach line managers on policy and legislation.
• Experience handling employee relations casework and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across Ardingly College Family of Schools, covering recruitment, onboarding and staff wellbeing.
• Advise staff on terms, conditions, and employment policies; support payroll and contracts oversight.
• Lead or support HR projects including learning and development, performance management, and change initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and safeguarding requirements; maintain mandatory training and checks.
