EFSPT in the Epping Forest district is seeking a Governance Manager to lead governance support across the Trust and its Local Governing Committees, ensuring robust governance and compliance. This flexible, part-time role focuses on proactive management and clear communication with Trustees and Governors.

The position is permanent, 20 hours per week, hybrid with travel to Trust schools, and Salary: Scale 9. The successful candidate will advise on policies, maintain registers and develop training

Formación

• Experience as Clerk to Governors or Governance Officer.
• Experience in a Multi-Academy Trust or school environment preferred.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and develop governance framework, schemes of delegation and compliance tracking.
• Provide guidance to Trustees, Local Governors and Headteachers on governance.
• Oversee LGC Clerks; ensure agendas, minutes and registers are completed.
• Maintain central compliance systems; updates for GIAS, Companies House and disclosures.
• Coordinate induction and ongoing training for Governors and Trustees.
