Job description

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the strategic oversight of the Dedicated Schools Grant and, in addition, its interface with general Council funding in enabling the education division to carry out its work effectively.
• To support the Assistant Director in shaping local policy development and implementation in line with Council priorities.
• To be responsible for the leadership and management of specialist financial services to schools, ensuring that the financial stability of maintained schools is in accordance with DfE School Funding arrangements
