Job summary

UNSW Sydney invites applications for Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Education Focused) in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology, with a focus on neurological rehabilitation. The role centers on developing and delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, creating engaging learning experiences that promote student achievement and employability.

At Level A, the incumbent will deliver teaching and support student learning, contributing to course administration.

Qualifications

• Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia is highly desirable.
• Experience in exercise physiology, especially neurological rehabilitation (e.g., spinal cord injury).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to support diverse backgrounds and contribute to equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Knowledge of UNSW aims, objectives and policies and commitments to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs with engaging, inclusive learning.
• Contribute to development of learning activities, resources, assessments and course administration.
• Support program accreditation activities and maintain contemporary pedagogy and course quality.
• Level B duties include designing innovative teaching approaches and managing courses as Course Authority.
