Conwy County Borough Council is recruiting for a Finance Accountancy Officer in its Education Finance Team. The role provides comprehensive financial support to Headteachers and Governing Bodies, delivering budget setting, monitoring and reporting under an SLA across the county.

The position is based in Colwyn Bay with hybrid working (3 days in the office) and full-time hours (37 per week). Pay is £18.62 per hour umbrella, with a 3+ month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a finance environment, ideally within education or public sector finance.

Responsibilities

• Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting for schools.
• Financial management support and advice to Headteachers and Governing Bodies.
• Delivery of additional finance services in line with SLA agreements.
