Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an Education Services Communication and Research Support Officer to help strengthen engagement and co-production across Education Services and SEND.

You will work with children, young people, families, schools and partner organisations to gather insights and support evidence-based practice to ensure information and services are accessible, inclusive and responsive to local needs.

Qualifications

• Qualification at BTEC, NVQ Level 4 or above (or equivalent) in health/social care, social sciences or youth and community work, or substantial relevant experience.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND and their families using co-production approaches.
• Knowledge of SEND Local Offer and related family information duties.
