Job description

Hackney’s Virtual School has a long history of successfully supporting some of the most vulnerable children in the borough.

We are looking for a high-performing individual who can support Hackney’s Care Leavers and Children in the Youth Justice Service into education, employment and training opportunities.

This role is situated in a highly successful team and you will have experience of supporting young people into education and job opportunities. In the first instance, you will supporting young people in the Prevention and Diversion service.

You will be committed to best practice and service delivery, retaining a clear focus upon positive outcomes for children and young adults across the borough.

Dynamic, innovative, committed and passionate, you’ll bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of working with children and young people in the wider educational and employment landscape.

Hackney’s Virtual School is renowned for its innovative practice and the successful candidate will be creative, flexible and be able to engage a wide range of stakeholders.

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.

This role is for a fixed term 2 year contract in the first instance.
