Job summary

The Manchester College is seeking an Education & Early Years Lecturer to join the Education & Early Years department on a full-time temporary basis until October half term. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across Education & Early Years programmes and providing tutorial support across multiple campuses.

You will teach 16-18 and Adult learners, plan and deliver lessons, assess learner work, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Qualified teacher with PGCE or equivalent.
FE teaching experience in Education or Early Years.
Experience delivering Education and/or Early Years qualifications.
Ability to teach both 16-18 and Adult learners.
Enhanced DBS certificate available for review.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Education & Early Years programmes.
Support learners to achieve their academic and personal development goals.
Deliver tutorial sessions and provide pastoral support where required.
Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Monitor learner attendance, progress and achievement.
Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to support learner success.
