Job summary

Judicium Education Limited is hiring a Data Protection Consultant to support schools and trusts across the UK. You will conduct data compliance audits, review policies, respond to client queries, draft DPIAs, and deliver staff training.

The role offers hybrid working with one day per week at the London Bloomsbury office; remote options can be discussed. Applicants should have strong data protection experience and be able to build trusted client relationships.

Qualifications

• Prior data protection experience and strong subject matter knowledge.
• Excellent communicator with ability to build trusted relationships and deliver tailored service.
• Ability to work autonomously with proven data protection compliance experience.
• Proficient in reviewing and drafting policies and procedures with strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Experience delivering client training sessions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data compliance audits for clients and present findings with recommendations.
• Review policies and procedures to assess data protection compliance and provide practical improvements.
• Respond to client queries by phone or email, offering clear guidance and options.
• Draft and review Data Protection Impact Assessments.
• Maintain regular client contact to monitor progress toward compliance.
• Deliver training sessions to clients, ensuring staff understand responsibilities.
• Assist clients with data requests and data breaches per legal requirements.
• Be an active member of the data protection team and contribute to meetings and ideas.
