Job description

Job Title: Medical Education Support Officer (Part-time)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable individual to join the Medical Education Team. The successful candidate will work closely with Medical Education Managers, Training Programme Directors, IMG Tutors, and Directors of Medical Education to promote, develop, and support postgraduate medical education services in accordance with national and local policies, procedures, and contracts.

This role is part-time, 15 hours per week, and office-based in Guildford, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with Medical Education Managers to manage and deliver Doctor Induction, SAS doctor training programmes, teaching, and mentorship.
  2. Create and maintain up-to-date electronic data processes, including contact lists and resident doctor placements.
  3. Update, maintain, and report on the consultant educator approval database.
  4. Provide administrative support for Local Faculty Group Meetings, including minute-taking and trainee progression tracking.
