Prospero Teaching is seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Education Recruitment team in Liverpool. The role focuses on vetting, DBS and safeguarding checks, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding standards.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. The position offers structured development and a strong path in safeguarding leadership.

• Experience communicating clearly with candidates, consultants, and schools is valued.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is important.

Responsabilités

• Carry out full vetting and compliance checks (Right to Work, identity verification, DBS, safeguarding, and disqualification checks).
• Verify qualifications and training of candidates and staff.
• Perform employment history, reference, and prohibition checks.
• Follow up with candidates and Consultants for outstanding documentation.
• Support Consultants with compliance queries and safeguarding best practices.
• Highlight or escalate safeguarding concerns as needed.
• Liaise with schools, Local Authorities, referees, and professional bodies
• Maintain accurate records and input data into internal systems.
• Produce weekly compliance reports for Management.
• Ensure branch activity complies with legislation and company policies.
