A local government council in the UK seeks an experienced education coordinator to improve outcomes for vulnerable learners. The role involves supporting and challenging educational professionals and understanding the barriers faced by looked-after children. Ideal candidates will have a strong educational background and a passion for making a positive impact. This position is full-time and offers a supportive team environment.

We are looking for a full-time education coordinator with a proven track record of securing strong outcomes for vulnerable learners to join our successful team.
You will bring a strong knowledge of the barriers and disadvantage faced by children looked after, and a passion for helping them overcome these. You will have substantial experience of working in a school or educational setting and understanding of the statutory guidance that informs our work. You will be confident to lead on outcomes for a cohort of vulnerable learners, supporting and challenging other professionals as needed. Experience of working with secondary age pupils is desirable, but not essential.
