Job summary

Kindred is seeking hardworking and reliable cleaners for an educational building in Weston-super-Mare. The role requires completing routine cleaning tasks, deep-cleaning when needed, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

A DBS check is mandatory, and duties include stocking supplies and reporting issues promptly. The position offers a fixed schedule (Mon-Fri, 07:00-09:15) with hourly pay of £12.71 in a site-based role at Woodspring Ave, Worlebury.

Qualifications

• Able to complete the physical demands of the role.
• To follow instructions (including written) and work safely for periods of time on their own.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement.
• Able to fulfil the shift patterns because the timings of the role would be fixed.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
• Using cleaning materials safely and reporting maintenance issues promptly.
