GORSE is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead the in‑house catering service at Richmond Hill Academy. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene and customer service for students, staff and visitors.

Work with the Trust Catering Manager to manage food production, budgets, stock, and compliance with HACCP and school policies. You will lead a small team, promote healthy eating, and create a welcoming dining environment.

Competenze

• Experience working in a busy catering or kitchen environment.
• Experience managing food preparation and service.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene standards and HACCP principles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team.
• Experience of stock control, ordering and budget monitoring.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
• Positive, reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Experience within a school or education setting is desirable.
