The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist/administrator to support the Oxford Road Campus. This role involves providing administrative assistance to management, acting as the first point of contact, and addressing maintenance issues. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Band 2 – 20 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated receptionist/administrator with experience of working in a busy environment. The post holder will need to be methodical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
It is essential that the post holder has strong interpersonal skills with a “can do” approach, able to problem solve and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
The post holder will act as receptionist and will be the first point of contact for all users, visitors and patients to the building and surrounding wards. They will also be responsible for daily monitoring of maintenance issues and act as fire warden.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Assistant Education Campus Manager and process all room booking requests via a bespoke electronic system.
The post holder must adapt quickly to all new IT systems and be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
They will play a key role within the Oxford Road Campus, MRI, working with all staff within Education.
The post-holder will work as part of the Admin & Reception Team based in the ORC. Main responsibilities include acting as the Receptionist, assisting with administrative support, supporting events & facilities, processing room requests, receiving deliveries, and monitoring room usage and sign-in processes.
