Contract: Part -Time (25hrs in the first instance), Term Time

Are you a passionate and committed Early Years Practitioner looking to make a real difference in young children’s lives? Oaklands Nursery School is seeking a caring, creative and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified practitioner to join our Outstanding team.

Oaklands is an Ofsted Outstandingnursery school offering education and care for children aged 2 to 4. Our purpose-built setting features a bright and stimulating learning environment, a large outdoor space with woodland and outdoor classroom. We are proud to offer an exciting, play-basedcurriculum enriched with Forest School, gardening, baking, storytelling, creative arts, and more.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Has experience of working with children aged 2–5 and a sound understanding of the EYFS 2024 framework.
  • Demonstrates warmth, enthusiasm and a genuine motivation to help children learn and grow.
  • Can support high-quality care and learning both indoors and outdoors.
  • Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Has Paediatric First Aidtraining (or is willing to complete training).
  • Understands and follows safeguarding procedures to keep children safe.
  • Is flexible, reliable, and available to work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, to support our wraparound care provision if required.
  • Is reflective and committed to ongoing learning and development.
