An opportunity has arisen for the position of Clerical Assistant supporting the Education Resources Central Administration Service based at South Lanarkshire Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton.
The successful applicant will work as an effective member of the Administration Team delivering a high-quality service to parents of South Lanarkshire and staff within Early Years, Mainstream, and Additional Support Needs Education, including school admissions, placing requests, and school transport. This role will have a particular focus within the Inclusive Education Administration Team supporting the delivery of our services for children and young people with additional support needs.
The successful applicant should have experience working in an office or administration setting and should possess a sound knowledge of IT with good keyboard and communication skills.
A degree of flexibility and adaptability is required.
