Job summary

ALDIA is seeking an EDS Launch Engineer to support launch activities at the customer plant in the UK. You will rework harnesses, validate corrective actions on breadboards and vehicles, and contribute to troubleshooting of EDS systems in a fast-paced setting.

You will represent ALDIA on site, support diagnostics, and provide schematic markups while tracking documentation and ensuring timely closure of issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a launch environment and ability to work at a launch build site.
• Ability to read wiring harness drawings, sketches and circuit diagrams/schematics.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle EDS systems, including KSK.
• Experience in vehicle electrical system diagnostics and rectification.
• Experience reworking and producing vehicle wiring harnesses.
• Analytical approach to problem solving with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support at customer plant during launches and build activities.
• Rework pre-series harnesses to validate corrective actions on breadboards/vehicles.
• Represent ALDIA at launch build sites addressing technical solutions.
• Support EDS diagnostics, fault diagnosis, rework and repair.
• Provide markup drawings/schematics for design cascade.
• Track documentation and close EDS system issues.

We are currently looking for EDS Launch Engineersto join our team of consultants on an indefinite basis, located in UK.

Responsibilities or duties:

• The support will take place on side the customer plant.
• Rework of pre series harnesses to validate corrective actions/ design solutions on breadboards/vehicles.
• Represent our companyin the front line of the customer at launch build site on technicalsolutions.
• Support customer functional harness layout and validation process as EDS lead fordiagnostics of electrical EDS functional issues.
• Support vehicle builds and advise on EDS package design and systems function issues.
• Investigate and create EDS design proposals for resolution of vehicle and functional levelbuild issues.
• Provide markup drawings/schematics of solutions to issues for cascading to design team.
• Support customer test board assembly, and lead EDS fault diagnosis, rework and repair.
• Manage tracking of documentation and closure of EDS systems issues.

What are we looking for?
