JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION

As an EDMSupport Engineer at Kainos,you’llplay a key role in helping us deliver responsive, high-quality technical support to our external customers. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and customer support consultants to investigate and resolve technical issues, contribute to internal documentation, and continuously improve your technical skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career who enjoys solving problems, learningnew technologies, and being part of a collaborative team.You’llgain hands-on experience in cloud platforms, web services, and development environments while supporting real-world production systems.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

  • Assistin troubleshooting and resolving customer-reported issues under guidance from senior team members.

  • Work withothersupportengineersto triage, document, and escalate complex issues.

  • Contribute to documentation and internal knowledge bases to share learnings and solutions.

  • Support internal testing, validation, and analysis of reported issues.

  • Participate in post-deploymentservices.

  • Learn and grow technicalexpertiseinWorkdayExtend, cloud technologies (especially AWS), and web services.

  • Help improve service quality byidentifyingrecurring issues and suggesting improvements.

  • Collaborate with team members on shared tasks and learn from mentorship opportunities.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Experience workingwithCloud technologies preferably AWS.

  • Experience/Understanding of RESTful APIsandweb service technologies (REST, SOAP).

  • Developmentexperience in working with Java/Node JS languages.

  • Experiencedeveloping serverlessAWSapps.

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience developing & coding within agile delivery environments.

  • A strong customer service mindset withgood communicationand collaboration skills.

  • We all work in teams here in Kainos - a proven ability ofstrong teamskills, including taking direction from others, is crucial.

  • Ability to deliver tasks within a given timeframe.

  • Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Desirable:

  • ObtainedWorkdayHCM certification (valid).

  • ObtainedWorkdayExtend certifications from an accredited body in your area of specialisation (must be valid).

  • Experience developingWorkdayExtend applications.

  • Experience in providing application support and solving low/medium and complex problems.

  • Have AWS certified Developer Associate certification.
