EDM Operator (Late Shift)

Type: Permanent

Salary / Rate: Depending on experience

Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 4:30pm - 2:30am; Thursday 4:30pm - 1:30am

Location: Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire

Job Description

• Use and control of EDM machines
• Ability to read and understand CNC machine code for setup and operation
• Understand all setup parameters and their effects, such as datum setting and tool length/wear offsets
• Set up machines with appropriate work holding and tooling according to procedures

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Familiarity with quality and manufacturing standards
• Experience setting and operating EDM or multi-axis CNC machines
• Experience working within high-precision industries on aerospace, automotive, rail, or nuclear components
