Job summary

BMJ is seeking an Editorial Service Coordinator in London, hybrid work. You will manage projects and processes that support editorial services, roll out new workflow documentation to suppliers, and coordinate journal transitions between suppliers.

You will monitor KPIs, support cross-team collaboration with Research Integrity, Publishing Systems and other BMJ units, and lead regular supplier check-ins to drive efficiency and high-quality service.

• Strong analytical skills to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder and vendor relationship management to rollout new workflows and ensure service requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and identify bottlenecks with actionable remediation.
• Project manage journal transitions between editorial suppliers and GPS-related pre-acceptance processes.
• Serve as key contact for editorial office suppliers, leading regular check-ins.
