Job summary

ICON Clinical Research is seeking an Editorial Assistant to support editorial processes for scientific and clinical documents. You will help ensure materials meet high standards of clarity, accuracy and compliance, while assisting with literature searches and submission materials.

The role involves database management, interaction with client contacts, and coordination across teams. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required, with preference for scientific/medical backgrounds and strong English

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • Degrees in scientific/medical fields or publishing preferred.
  • Applicants with recent degree welcome.
  • Experience in medical publications/medical communications preferred.
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to literature searches and alerts.
  • Assist with preparation of submissions for manuscripts and abstracts.
  • Research and download author guidelines to internal databases.
  • Support ad hoc projects as directed.
  • Maintain EndNote libraries for accuracy and reuse.
