Editorial (and Scientific) Director, Healthcare

The healthcare practice of a mid-sized consultancy, part of a mid-sized global group and acquirer of a carefully curated set of companies, is in search of a bit of an editorial unicorn! The usual core skills of exceptional scientific and medical knowledge, impeccable writing and editorial skills, creativity and in-depth healthcare communications expertise are vital, but you’ll also need to bring experience of leading and mentoring teams and client relationship development.

The role sits alongside two long-standing practice leads, so the infrastructure and client base are established and supportive of growth, allowing you to continue to ensure editorial excellence across all communications material whilst leading a team of brilliant medical and science writers.

You’ll need to have at least a first degree in Life Sciences, plenty of client-facing experience, scientific rigour and a real desire to work with the senior team to develop both the editorial capability and the wider healthcare business.
