Salary: GBP 30,541 - GBP 32,234 (PRO RATA)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Verbal is seeking to recruit two confident, innovative, and highly collaborative part-time Editor/Writers to join our team: one focusing on Children and Young People (C and YP) literature, and the other on Interactive/choose your own adventure fiction.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join an interdisciplinary team of Creative Writing, Editing, and Psychology experts with the goal of integrating various components of our annual programme.

This role requires a strong commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment.

The Team Will Be Responsible For:

1. Editing and production of 3 HU magazines and 1 annual anthology.
2. Production of creative content for Verbal's Education and Outreach programmes through participation in the Verbal Writers Room.
3. Design and facilitation of advanced creative writing training/workshops.
4. The team will consist of:

• 1 x Managing Editor: In post
• 2 x Editors/Writers: Recruiting
• 1 x Applied Psychologist: In post
