Job Description:
Life Science Networks is a fast-growing, next-generation media and events company serving the biopharmaceutical sector. Our mission is to connect professionals, foster innovation, and accelerate growth through high-impact events such as CDMO Live and the PharmaSource.global digital platforms, which are leading destinations for insight, interviews, news, and events for professionals working with external partners in drug development and manufacturing.
We thrive on experimentation, agility, and editorial excellence. As we grow, we’re looking for a creative, forward-thinking content professional who shares our passion for impactful storytelling and is enthusiastic about using digital tools to enhance content creation without compromising quality.
We are seeking a Content Editor & Conference Producer who combines strong editorial skills with a tech-savvy, experimental mindset. You’ll oversee content development across articles, interviews, podcasts, and events — working at the intersection of journalism, marketing, and event programming.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role — ideal for someone eager to explore new formats, workflows, and ways to engage a professional audience.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial & Content Creation
- Write and edit news analysis, expert interviews, and thought leadership features focused on pharma and biotech outsourcing
- Identify emerging trends relevant to biotech executives and CDMO decision-makers
- Manage an editorial calendar across website, email, and social media channels
- Commission and edit external contributions from partners and expert commentators
- Build robust AI-assisted editorial workflows — from content ideation to editing — while upholding standards of accuracy and quality
Conference & Webinar Programming
- Develop content agendas for live events, including topic research, speaker recruitment, and program development
- Moderate or host webinars, panel discussions, and interviews with senior industry figures
- Collaborate with events and marketing teams to promote content before, during, and after each event
Podcast & Multimedia
- Lead production of the PharmaSource Podcast: sourcing guests, preparing interviews, drafting scripts, and managing logistics
- Conduct interviews in audio and video formats, supporting multimedia storytelling
- Produce supporting content such as show notes, summaries, and promotional materials
About you
Ideal Candidate
- 3–6 years of experience in journalism, B2B content, or editorial roles, preferably within pharma, biotech, or life sciences
- Excellent interviewing and writing skills, able to communicate complex topics clearly and engagingly
- Experience with webinars, podcasts, or event content — or eagerness to learn
- Confidence engaging with senior industry professionals and leading conversations, both recorded and live
- A proactive, organized self-starter thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to experiment with AI-powered tools to optimize editorial workflows
- Familiarity with content tools such as WordPress, Canva, Descript, or AI writing platforms
- Understanding of drug development and manufacturing (e.g., CDMOs, CMC, regulatory trends, outsourcing models) and curiosity to learn more
- A data-informed mindset with an interest in content performance and audience engagement strategies
What We Offer
- A supportive, remote-first culture with flexibility and autonomy
- Creative freedom and influence over the editorial strategy of a growing media brand
- A collaborative, low-ego team environment where your work makes a visible impact
- Opportunities to experiment with innovative tools, formats, and approaches
