Job description

50 Sport is The Sports Entertainment Agency.

We build and grow social communities, deliver entertainment-led creative campaigns, and drive sponsorship value - connecting fans, brands and rights holders across the world of sport. We unite sport, entertainment and culture through industry-leading creativity, social media, strategy and performance, partnering with global sports organisations, leading motorsport teams, international tournaments and some of the most recognised brands in sport.

About the role:

We are looking to strengthen our Studio Team with an Editor who understands how to craft stories at the intersection of sport, entertainment and social culture. This role sits at the heart of our creative output, shaping content for some of the world's most premium sports brands.

Sport gives us the moment.

Editing gives it meaning.

At 50 Sport, editing is where sport becomes entertainment.

We believe the cutting room is where raw sporting energy is transformed into story, spectacle and culture. Through pace, rhythm, emotion and craft, our editors shape the moments that people remember.

This role is for you if you:

Are an expert in editorial storytelling

  • You understand how to craft narrative through pacing, structure and emotion.
  • You can cut a hero film, a social edit, or a documentary-style story with equal confidence.

Understand the intersection of Sport & Entertainment

  • You instinctively know how to amplify the spectacle, drama and emotion of sport through editorial craft.

Have deep knowledge of social editing techniques

  • You understand how content lives in the feed - from punchy social edits and platform-native formats to bold visual transitions, pacing and rhythm that stop the scroll. Have exceptional taste and editorial instinct
  • You know when to push a moment harder, when to strip things back, and when to surprise the viewer.

Are fluent in modern editing tools and workflows

  • Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro is essential. Experience with After Effects, sound design and colour workflows are highly valued.

Are collaborative and creative

  • You enjoy working closely with Creative Directors, Motion Designers, Producers and Social teams to shape ideas and elevate the final output. You may even have some of these skills yourself.

Are organised and calm under pressure

  • You can manage multiple projects, respond to feedback constructively and maintain quality in fast-paced production environments.

Live and breathe sport

  • You understand the drama, culture and storytelling power of sport and how it resonates with global fan communities.

Care deeply about craft

  • Sound design, rhythm, pacing and transitions matter to you. You know the difference between a good edit and a great one.

Are hungry to work on the biggest brands in sport

  • From global rights holders to world-famous teams and sponsors, our work lives on some of the biggest stages in sport.
Job responsibilities:
