Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer for a 4 month (+) contract in Edinburgh. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support solutions built on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, collaborating with stakeholders to modernise processes and deliver scalable digital solutions.

The role requires strong development skills, extensive Microsoft integration experience, and the ability to deliver enterprise-grade solutions within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience designing and developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, including Cloud Flows.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience integrating solutions with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Azure Services.
• Strong knowledge of Power Fx, DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling, Security Roles, and Permissions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, Managed Environments, and DLP policies.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Power Platform solutions.
• Create scalable applications and automate business processes.
• Deliver meaningful reporting and analytics using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in governance, security, and environment management activities.
