Job summary

Manpower is recruiting reliable 7.5t Drivers to join one of the UK's most recognised logistics organisations based in Edinburgh. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, load and unload, and complete delivery paperwork.

This temporary, ongoing role offers varied shifts, competitive hourly pay (£17.02–£26.99) and an opportunity to develop your career with a trusted employer. Strong adherence to safety and time management is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years' driving experience on 7.5t in logistics/distribution.
• Solid knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
