Job summary

ManpowerGroup UK is recruiting for a reliable 7.5t Driver to join a nationwide logistics operation in Rochester. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres, load and unload, and complete delivery paperwork.

The role offers various shifts, competitive hourly pay (£17.55–£27.52), and a temporary ongoing contract with full PPE provided and ongoing support from the recruitment team.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• 2 years previous 7.5t driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
