The Office of the President and Provost (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) has been established to strategically advance equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) at UCL. The team draws from diverse expertise to provide expert advice, engagement, and support for faculties and departments to promote initiatives and good practices. The purpose of the team is to embed EDI initiatives into core business and mainstream the values on which UCL was founded.
As one of the EDI Managers, you will support the delivery of UCL's EDI strategy, focusing on religion and belief. You will work across departments to manage key projects, provide expert advice, and promote awareness and engagement with EDI priorities.
This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about inclusion, requiring strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Please note, this is an Accelerate to Leadership opportunity, available to eligible UCL staff only, as a 12-month secondment. Eligible staff will have until 02/09/2025 at 23:59 to apply. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in our Bidborough House office.
You bring proven experience in EDI, with expertise in religion and belief. You understand the application of the Equality Act 2010 and stay informed on sector developments. You can drive cultural change within complex institutions with insight and sensitivity. You are collaborative and confident working with stakeholders at all levels, valuing diverse perspectives to shape inclusive, evidence-led approaches.
