Our client plays a key role in supporting early-stage businesses across Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-orientated and self-motivated professional to join their team as a Financial Reporting & Fund Accountant.

The Job…

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the team’s financial operations & providing key financial insights to drive decision-making. This role offers excellent exposure to the investment sector. Key responsibilities will include:

• Collecting & reviewing quarterly financial data from portfolio companies.
• Assisting with fund reporting, in time taking ownership for this process.
• Supporting capital drawdowns, distributions, & cash flow management.
• Collaborating with the investment team to provide financial analysis & reporting.

Candidate Criteria…

To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following attributes:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) - newly qualified or 1-2 years PQE.
• Ideally coming from a practice or professional services background - fund or investment experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements & management accounts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail orientated with exceptional organisational skills.
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office.
