A leading organization is seeking an Anti Racist Education Lead to support schools in the Westmorland & Furness Council area. The role involves embedding anti-racist practices, providing training, and responding to incidents. Candidates should have a strong understanding of anti-racism and experience with UK educational processes. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting in the 2025/26 school year.
We are excited to offer a position as our Anti Racist Education Lead! In this role, you will support schools in the Westmorland & Furness Council area to embed anti-racist practices, helping staff understand, address, and prevent racism.
You will work closely with 20 schools and provide the following support:
When necessary, you will respond to racist incidents in schools, collaborating with teachers, police, and other stakeholders. Your role, supported by the ARC Team, involves supporting children and families while holding schools and stakeholders accountable.

This role will commence at the start of the 2025/26 school year. It is a one-year, fixed-term, full-time position funded by Westmorland & Furness Council.
