Job Description

The servicing of AE HiTek power supply product range. The service must meet the unit specification and workmanship standards, utilizing a range of specialist and general equipment to investigate and diagnose faults, carry out rectification work, and then measure and test, fault find the final assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Skills

1. Evaluating units, investigating and diagnosing fault conditions down to component level.
2. Prioritising and planning your work to meet output targets.
3. Utilising SAP to place orders for spare parts and components for rectification/repair work.
4. Carrying out modifications, rectifications, and rework to units.
5. Building test jigs, boxes, or loads as required, or to simulate customer applications.
6. Maintaining and repairing test equipment.
7. Responding to customer queries.
8. Conducting FA investigations on units for Fault Analysis Investigation reports.
9. Using the SAP RMA System to progress and update all service work.
10. Ensuring adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System and Health and Safety Policy.
11. Following the Company’s Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System procedures, including COSHH, waste disposal, energy, water, and paper conservation.

Experience

1. Previous experience with high voltage power supplies.
2. Ability to read, understand, and identify issues with circuit drawings.
