Due to growth at MidKent College Medway Campus and Medway School of Arts in The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, we are recruiting several Art and Design lecturers to teach courses from L1 to L5, including Foundation Degree / HND Programmes. We seek diverse skills to cover fine art, fashion design, graphics, and digital media.
We are particularly interested in candidates from a Games Art/Design/Animation background who can design, deliver, and assess high-quality creative study programmes aligned with UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication, focusing on Games Art. Skills in industry-standard digital software such as Maya, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Premiere, and After Effects are essential. Candidates should inspire students through outstanding teaching strategies that challenge and motivate.
Applicants should have industry experience or a relevant degree and demonstrate passion for teaching. An understanding of developing students’ English, Maths, and employability skills is vital. The ability to set targets and monitor student progress to ensure successful outcomes is also required.
