What’s the Role: Relief Team Leader

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team supports our service users to learn and develop their independence skills, which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, and taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role, and we encourage staff to use their humour, sense of fun, and creativity in supporting our service users with day-to-day life.

Where You Would Work: Ards Community Supported Living Service

Ards Community Supported Living currently supports 11 individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

We are a highly motivated team who work tirelessly to promote the independence of the individuals we are working with. We support people to develop their daily living skills and to access the community and social activities with a holistic approach.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in an individual’s life.

There is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and increase skills and knowledge within the health and social care field. We provide an excellent training and induction programme, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring.

Salary Details:

Relief position available

£12.25 per hour

*Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies*
