Job description

Andrology Solutions pushes the boundaries of male infertility investigation. We believe that couples experiencing infertility can only be successful in starting a family if the male partner is also taken into account. Men feel marginalised when they are diagnosed with infertility and are very rarely investigated other than a semen analysis. We consider it essential that men are fully investigated for infertility so that they have a diagnosis that can then be managed appropriately. Our goal is to help men achieve a natural pregnancy with their partners or to increase their chances of a successful outcome with ART if required.

What we do

Andrology Solutions Ltd., located in the heart of central London, is the first and only HFEA licensed fertility clinic to focus specifically on men. We are an independent, scientist-led diagnostic and clinical laboratory service designed to address male reproductive health. We offer a comprehensive range of the most up-to-date tests for male infertility, providing a forum for men to discuss their results and concerns, and offering recommendations to optimise sperm quality. We also provide an HFEA licensed sperm preparation and insemination service, sperm cryopreservation and storage, and andrology services for testicular sperm retrievals and cryopreservation.

Who are we looking for?

We seek caring, supportive individuals who are passionate about male infertility and willing to change perceptions. If you are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and enjoy teamwork, we invite you to explore opportunities within our dynamic Andrology team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with patients, doctors, and staff to organise appointments, testing, and treatments.
  2. Perform semen preparation from fresh or frozen sperm for intrauterine insemination.
  3. Conduct semen cryopreservation for various purposes.
  4. Attend theatres for testicular sperm retrieval and prepare sperm for cryopreservation.
  5. Participate in Saturday rota for IUIs.
  6. Follow SOPs and maintain strict quality control.
  7. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with the HFEA Code of Practice.
  8. Assist in transport arrangements of sperm to other clinics.
  9. Support general laboratory maintenance and administrative duties.
Skills and Abilities
  • Good laboratory technique
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork and individual initiative
  • Confidentiality and record-keeping
  • High standards of quality and service
  • Compassion, tact, and understanding of patient needs
  • Professional behaviour and cooperation
What we offer you
