Job overview

An exciting opportunity has come up for qualified diagnostic radiographers to join the MRI team at St Mary’s hospital – Paddington, London. We are looking to recruit a B7 Substantive radiographer for a full-time MRI post.

St Mary’s has recently installed the latest in AI reconstruction technology onto 3 of our 4 GE MRI scanners. We are therefore looking for fresh and dynamic individuals to join the team to integrate and further develop this service with the latest protocol optimisation.

In this MRI post, you can expect to perform a diverse range of diagnostic MR procedures, including cardiac imaging, for both adults and pediatric patients. You will also be part of the team for interventional MR procedures including pediatric GA, and focus ultrasound ablation.

We are looking for individuals who are ready to embrace the challenges that come with the meticulous process of protocol overhaul, ensuring the sequences are in line with the latest research whilst prioritising department efficiency. You should have an excellent technical background and be ready to demonstrate leadership as you join our friendly and welcoming MRI team.

You should be flexible with your approach to work, forward-thinking, enthusiastic, motivated, and share our vision for excellent patient care.

Informal discussions and visits are encouraged.

Experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant modality imaging techniques

  • Significant experience in CT/IR or MRI
