Job description

MSS Facilities Ltd and the RSK Group are recruiting for a Packing Operative to join the team based in Llanelli, UK - Trostre.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The role involves working on a shift basis of four days on, four days off: 6am-6pm for two days and 6pm-6am for two days.

The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial, and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated, and complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pack to an acceptable quality standard whilst adhering to Safe Working Procedures.
2. Meet daily packing targets. If targets can’t be met, record the reasons why.
3. Replenish packing machinery, e.g., Manipulator and stretch wrap.
4. Report any issues in Tata machinery/equipment to Tata leaders at the earliest opportunity.
5. Maintain regular communication with MSS Packing Coordinator/Contracts Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Health & Safety awareness.
2. In-depth knowledge of all packing processes.
3. Systematic record keeping and attention to detail.
4. Continuous improvement mindset.
5. Forklift Truck operation (in-house training).
