Axon Moore is partnering with a PE-backed SME in Chorley to recruit a new Management Accountant, due to an internal promotion.

This role offers an excellent, varied opportunity for a first-time mover to step into a broad role within a well-established and growing business, with the chance to drive change and make the role their own. The successful candidate will gain exceptional exposure and will shadow and learn from two high-caliber, supportive ACA-qualified mentors.

Responsibilities include:

1. Production of monthly management accounts
2. Preparation and maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
3. Preparation of the monthly P&L statements
4. Supporting the annual statutory audit process
5. Assisting with statutory accounts production
6. Capex reporting
7. Full accountability for balance sheet reporting and accuracy
8. Acting as a finance point of contact and business partner across multiple divisions
9. Ad hoc project work
