Job Summary

As a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform nuclear medicine procedures, conduct calibration and quality checks, and practice radiation safety and universal precautions.

You will:

  • Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously or via venous line, as authorized.
  • Interact with physicians to modify diagnostic plans.
  • Manipulate raw data and review studies for accuracy.
  • Perform decontamination and maintain security of hot and decay areas.
  • Participate in on-call duties and work variable shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ability to perform procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
