Imports LCL Customer Services Operator
Location: Basildon, Essex (Southfields Business Park)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Competitive (discussed at interview)

We’re working with a highly regarded logistics business in Basildon, looking for an experienced Imports LCL Customer Services Operator to join their friendly and proactive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing emails from agents, clients, and vendors
• Handling import delivery requests and routed UK bookings
• Managing customs clearances for DAP/DDP shipments
• Providing updates to customers and issuing documentation
• Answering inbound calls and providing high-level customer service
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and revenue

What you’ll need:

• 1+ year in Seafreight Import Operations
• LCL Import experience essential
• Knowledge of CNS & Destin8 systems
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• UK residency with right to work
• Own transport desirable
