Job Description:

Role Overview: Join our Engineering Team at Telent as a Station Systems Technician working early and late shifts. You will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts alternating between 6am-6pm and 12pm-12am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain SISS assets and report/stem station communication faults.
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • The ability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
