Role: Science Technician
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: 115 per day
Type: Part time - temporary (3 days per week)

Eden Brown are in need of a science technician on behalf of a leading Further Education College in Greater Manchester.

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our science laboratories. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and setting up practical experiments for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.
Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring safe storage of chemicals and materials.
Assisting teaching staff with demonstrations and practical activities.
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.

About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised and detail-oriented, with a keen interest in science.
Knowledgeable about laboratory equipment and safety protocols (previous experience as a technician or relevant qualifications are a bonus!).
A team player, ready to support both staff and students.

A DBS is also needed for this role. If you do not have a current DBS Eden brow can apply on your behalf.
