Job description

Job Title - NDT Technician

Location - Exhall, Warwickshire

Hours - Permanent On-site, Full Time, 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday: - 6am to 3.45pm (Friday off)

Salary - 16.89 per hour

Job Specification:

Responsibility for ensuring the relevant quality control inspections and tests (NDT Tasks) are planned, executed and appropriately recorded. You will also ensure that the required NDT tests and inspection of products are performed in compliance with international, national regulations, the relevant internal and customers quality requirements as specified in specifications, standards, procedures, and contract.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Performing NDT testing and inspections using both Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant methods, analysing results, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Detecting defects and interpreting test outcomes.
  • Creation of NDT Technique cards
  • Compiling test reports and presenting key findings.
  • Participating in Nadcap and customer audits.
  • Conducting control checks and documenting the results

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) environment, with the ability to provide documented proof of past experience.
  • Experience and understanding of working to Rolls-Royce NDT procedures
  • Valid NDT certification (EN4179) is essential.
  • At least three years of progressive experience as an NDT technician.
