We're recruiting for a dynamic and compassionate Emergency Response Officer at the UK offices of one of the world's largest tech companies, based in King's Cross, London. This is a key role supporting the safety and wellbeing of employees and visitors across multiple sites in the London area. This is a combined role of Medic and a Security Officer (if no medical incidents, you will be fulfilling a Security Officer duties).

You'll be First Person on Scene (FPOS), responding to incidents including medical emergencies, and will travel between sites using an e-bike (training provided). A typical day in the life as an Emergency Response Officer:

  • Be the first responder for medical and safety incidents across London sites.
  • Cycle confidently between locations (urban cycling training provided).
  • Implement and manage emergency response plans.
  • Support a culture of care and readiness, ensuring well-being and security for all.
  • Act as a Security Officer if there is no medical related duties

What are we looking for?

We value both experience and potential. You might have worked in the emergency services, healthcare, security, or community support, but we're also open to individuals with strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

We're Especially Interested In Applicants With

  • Mental Health First Aid training or experience
  • First Person on Scene (FPOS), FREC 3, or equivalent emergency care qualifications
  • Experience in incident management or leadership in high-pressure environments
  • Confidence in cycling in urban settings
  • An SIA licence (or willingness to obtain one with our support)
  • Awareness of Martyn's Law (training will be provided if required)
