The Data Engineer role is part of the Chief Data Office, reporting to the Data Engineering manager. It’s crucial for delivering our vision to empower colleagues and clients with data. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage data products that facilitate decision-making, support growth, and improve processes.

You will work on a greenfield cloud platform, playing a key role in building data products that generate value for the firm. Your responsibilities include:

1. Ingesting data from various sources
2. Transforming raw data into curated datasets
3. Provisioning datasets to our data marketplace
4. Ensuring development standards are met
5. Working within a SCRUM team
6. Designing data engineering solutions based on business needs

You should have:

1. Experience with SQL and Python, using them daily
2. Knowledge of Azure technologies like SQL DB, Synapse, Data Factory, Data Bricks, PowerBI
3. Experience processing data from files, databases, APIs, and streams, using ETL/ELT and stored procedures
4. Understanding of agile practices, with SCRUM experience preferred
5. A desire to make a positive impact on the firm, clients, and colleagues
