About The Role

As a Software Engineer II, you will perform moderate research, design, and software development tasks within a specific functional area or product line.

Responsibilities

1. Interfacing with team members to finalize requirements
2. Writing and reviewing detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity
3. Collaborating with development team members to translate product requirements into software designs
4. Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and conducting code reviews
5. Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall) with stakeholders
6. Completing bug fixes and resolving technical issues

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Some software development experience
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, C#
• Understanding of data modeling, data manipulation, and storage systems
• Familiarity with industry best practices like code coverage
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and test-driven development
• Desire to learn new processes and technologies
• Good verbal and written communication skills
